Question: Do I have to pay for the gas and electric I use?
Answer: Absolutely not! There are no hidden costs. All utility, council tax and TV license bills are included in the price of a stay at Mint Apartments.
Question: Do you provide towels?
Answer: Yes all towels and linen are provided and are changed regularly.
Question: Do you provide a hair dryer or will I need to take my own?
Answer: Yes, a hair dryer can be found in each apartment.
Question: If I am arriving late, what should I do?
Answer: On your confirmation e-mail, you will find instructions for our simple automated express check-in. If you have not received these instructions, please call us on 01224 595258
Question: Where do I leave my key on departure?
Answer: Once you have locked the door, simply put the key through the letter box of your apartment.
Question: How far is Mint Apartments from the Airport?
Answer: Approximately 20 minutes by taxi. Cost will be in the region of £20. In your room we provide numbers for you to contact taxis for your return journey.
Question: Is there parking at Mint Apartments?
Answer: Mint Apartments is very central providing easy access to the city. We have parking permits available and both free (8pm-8am) and Pay & Display on-street parking surrounding the property.
Note that Mint Apartments is on a main bus route.
Question: How close is Mint Apartments to the town centre?
Answer: Mint Apartments is in a perfect location for amenities. We are right in the city centre yet removed from the noise of the clubs and pubs. Holburn Street is a main entry from the south onto Union Street (Aberdeen's main shopping area). It takes 5mins to walk to Holburn Junction at the top end of Union Street and about 1min by bus.
Question: Do you accept Pets?
Answer: We love pets, but unfortunately we cannot accept them onto the property. Guidedogs are welcome.
Question: Is smoking allowed inside the apartments?
Answer: No. Smoking is absolutely forbidden in all apartments and all communal areas.
A charge of £500 will be made for deep cleaning apartments should any evidence
of smoking be found.
Question: Is there wheelchair /disabled access?
Answer: Mint Apartments occupies a traditional refurbished Granite Aberdeen Tenement block and therefore unfortunately does not have a lift. All apartments are only accessible by stairs.
Question: Is internet access available in the Apartments?
Answer: We provide you with free secure wireless broadband. It really annoys us when we are charged for this necessity whilst away from home, therefore we provide this facility to you free of charge.
Question: What is the maximum number of occupants allowed in an apartment?
Answer: All rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 adults, sharing a double or king-size bed. Cots and a pull-down bed may be available if agreed in advance.
Question: Can we request an early check in or late check out?
Answer - This depends on our availability. Please contact us the day prior to your arrival or the night before departure and we will be able to check this for you.
Question: I have a late flight, would I be able to leave my luggage somewhere?
Answer: We have secure storage. However, items left are done so at the customers' discretion and Mint Apartments accept no responsibility for loss or damage of any items.
Question: I'm arriving late. What food / drink is available in the Apartments and what restaurants can I book within a few minutes walk?
Answer: Our Features Page outlines what basic provisions are provided in each apartment.
